A Summer Wedding in Puglia at Masseria Don Luigi | Caroline & Jakub

Some weddings feel like a beginning. Others feel like a beautiful full circle moment. Caroline and Jakub’s summer wedding in Puglia was exactly that. Five years ago, I met them by chance in Monopoli, where I approached them for a spontaneous couple shoot while they were attending a friend’s wedding. Since that day, they have followed my work, and when the time came for their own celebration, they chose to return to Italy and invited me to capture their story. Moments like these are truly special.

Set in the heart of southern Italy, their wedding took place at the stunning venue called Masseria Don Luigi, one of the most charming and authentic wedding venues in Puglia, just outside Monopoli. Surrounded by olive trees, warm stone architecture and the soft summer light, it created the perfect setting for an elegant and intimate destination wedding in Italy.

Caroline and Jakub traveled from Denmark with their family and friends to celebrate their love in this beautiful region. Their ceremony was not only deeply emotional but also legally binding, officiated by Italian authorities, making it both a symbolic and official union in one unforgettable moment.

After the ceremony, guests enjoyed a relaxed and refined aperitivo filled with Italian delicacies, embracing the essence of a true Puglia wedding experience. The celebration then continued with an outdoor dinner under the open sky, where long tables, candlelight and warm summer air created an effortlessly elegant atmosphere.

The energy of the evening was elevated by a live band, bringing joy, movement and celebration to every moment. As the night unfolded, Caroline and Jakub cut their cake surrounded by their loved ones, followed by a magical fireworks display that lit up the Puglian sky.

Jakub complemented her perfectly in a sophisticated olive green suit, the two of them radiating effortless style and connection throughout the entire day.
