A Swiss Mountain Wedding at The Chedi Andermatt | Codee & Chris

Codee and Chris brought both together when they traveled from the United States to celebrate their wedding in the heart of the Swiss Alps.

Set against the breathtaking winter landscape of Andermatt, their celebration unfolded as an intimate and deeply emotional Swiss mountain wedding surrounded by their closest family and friends. The day began at the iconic hotel The Chedi Andermatt, one of the most exclusive luxury wedding venues in Switzerland, where quiet moments during the getting ready set the tone for everything that followed.

Fun fact: Codee and Chris originally planned to get married in Lake Como, but during a stopover in Switzerland at The Chedi Andermatt, they completely fell in love with the location and spontaneously decided to celebrate their wedding there instead.

One of the most unforgettable parts of the day was the journey up into the mountains. Together with their guests, Codee and Chris took the gondola up to The Japanese by The Chedi Andermatt, a truly unique location perched high above the valley. Surrounded by snow-covered peaks and endless alpine views, they exchanged their vows during a stunning outdoor wedding ceremony in the Swiss Alps.

The atmosphere was nothing short of magical. The crisp mountain air, the soft winter light and the stillness of the landscape created a setting that felt both intimate and cinematic. After the ceremony, guests enjoyed an elegant apéro followed by a refined dinner, all set against one of the most spectacular panoramic views Switzerland has to offer.

The entire day was beautifully curated and planned by Melanie Thun, whose eye for detail and calm presence allowed everything to flow effortlessly. The emotional depth of the celebration was further elevated by the incredible live performance of Everson Music, who created a truly unforgettable atmosphere throughout the day.

As the evening unfolded, the celebration returned to The Chedi Andermatt, where the wedding transformed into an intimate and vibrant party.

This wedding was a perfect example of a luxury destination wedding in Switzerland, combining natural beauty, refined aesthetics and genuine emotion. From the quiet getting ready moments to the energy on the dance floor, every part of the day felt intentional, elegant and deeply personal.
