Three sisters, one shared vision — capturing love stories around the world.
This year’s wedding season began among the breathtaking mountain landscapes of Switzerland — and we couldn’t imagine a better start. Now, we’re off to the sun-drenched coast of Marbella, where Melanie will be joined by her sister Stephanie and our team of film photographers, a second shooter, and a content creator.
What is now a full-service photo and video team started much more simply: with one camera, one passion, and one sister.

Where It All Began
Fourteen years ago, Melanie photographed her very first wedding — the sister of a close friend. At the time, photography was still a creative outlet, something she had fallen in love with as a teenager. But that first wedding changed everything. She knew instantly that this wasn’t just a hobby — it was her calling.
What drew her in most were the honest, emotional, and fleeting moments — the in-between glances, the tearful speeches, the gentle touch of a hand. Moments that couldn’t be staged, only noticed and preserved.

From One Sister to a Sisterhood
Two years after that first wedding, Stephanie and Emily, both incredibly creative in their own right, joined Melanie. What began as a solo endeavor became a true family business, and eventually, a powerhouse of talent, trust, and creative collaboration.

Melanie – Founder & Lead Photographer
Melanie is the heart and vision behind Kuenzli Photography. With 14+ years of experience and a background in project management, she not only captures timeless imagery but also supports couples throughout the planning process. Her calm presence, attention to detail, and artistic eye help ensure that every wedding she photographs is both stunning and heartfelt. Through our signature Wedding Guide, she shares expert advice to help couples plan their day with confidence and joy.
Stephanie – Photographer & Storyteller
Stephanie’s soulful and artistic style brings a fresh, emotional layer to our work. She’s known for her sensitive approach to storytelling and for building a real connection with the couples she photographs. As Melanie’s closest collaborator and trusted right hand on wedding days, she ensures that everything flows smoothly and that no moment is missed.
Emily – Marketing, Social Media & Creative Direction
Emily is the youngest of the three and the strategic mind behind our brand and currently based in Dublin, Irland. With a strong background in marketing and design, she combines aesthetic vision with business know-how. She’s also a trained photographer herself, which allows her to shape the brand from an insider’s perspective. Her eye for fashion, trends, and storytelling keeps our brand evolving with intention and beauty.

We don’t just arrive on the wedding day and start clicking. From the moment a couple books us, we become a creative partner — guiding them through the planning process, helping with vendor recommendations, and co-creating a visual concept that reflects their personalities. With our background in creative direction, we often help plan out key editorial-style moments ahead of time, so they can unfold naturally on the day.

Born in Ecuador and raised in Switzerland, we carry both worlds in our hearts — and in our work. Our bicultural background makes us especially passionate about photographing weddings that blend different cultures, languages, and traditions. Whether we’re in the Alps, on a finca in Spain, or by the sea in Puglia, we adapt, connect, and celebrate your story with care and understanding.
