And then there are weddings like Eliza & Taylor’s – a wildly stylish, joy-filled, and unforgettable glorious 3 day destination celebration that broke all the rules in the best way possible. Hosted at the lush and art-filled Marbella Club Hotel in Southern Spain, this wedding weekend was the ultimate mix of vogue, vintage, and vibrancy.
The bride, Eliza – a true free spirit and unapologetic “anti-bride” – wore a custom mermaid gown designed by the iconic Danny Santiago (yes, the same visionary who styled Sex and the City). Her look was bold, arty, and totally unique. No white dress. No long dress. Just color, confidence, and personality. From the moment she stepped onto the tropical-inspired venue, surrounded by exotic greenery and avant-garde sculptures, it was clear: this wedding wasn’t just a celebration – it was a statement.
Eliza and Taylor, a young, creative couple from California, didn’t want anything traditional. Instead, they curated a wedding experience that reflected their artistic souls: fun, deeply personal, fashion-forward, and a little rebellious. The Marbella Club – with its palm-lined paths, vintage Spanish charm, and eclectic art collection – felt more like Bali meets the Mediterranean than a typical European venue. It set the perfect tone for their three-day celebration.
Planned to perfection by Sonya from Luxsy Travel, and styled with pure editorial brilliance, every element of this wedding felt magazine-worthy. Whether it was the vibrant welcome dinner, the open-air ceremony surrounded by modern sculptures, or the dance party that lasted into the night — the focus was always on joy, freedom, and connection.
